Does Booking.com Have a "No Pets" Filter?

Short answer: no. Neither does Expedia or Hotels.com.

If you've searched for a way to select "no pets" on a hotel booking site, you've probably come up empty — not because you missed a setting, but because it doesn't exist. Every major site we've checked has a filter for finding pet-friendly hotels. None of them have a filter for the opposite. It's a one-directional feature: sites are built to help you find a room for your pet, not to help you avoid rooms that allow one.

Booking.com

Booking.com's filters include a "Travelling with pets" toggle that narrows results to pet-friendly properties. There's no equivalent toggle to exclude them — you'd need to open each remaining listing and check its own House Rules text for a pet policy, since not every listing states one clearly.

Expedia

Expedia's search filters include a "Pets allowed" checkbox that works the same way — it narrows to pet-friendly stays, with no way to invert the search. Hotels.com, which runs on the same underlying platform as Expedia, behaves identically.

Hotels.com

Same story as Expedia: a "Pets allowed" filter to find pet-friendly rooms, nothing to exclude them.

What actually works

Since no site offers this natively, your options are: manually check each listing's House Rules or amenities section, or use GoNoGo, a free browser extension for Chrome and Edge that reads each listing's own pet-policy text and flags it for you automatically — including on search-results pages, where it can flag and hide exactly the listings it can confirm are pet-friendly, leaving the rest visible. It works on Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, TripAdvisor, Priceline, and Trip.com.
